About

Hi. My name is Melissa Gilmour.  I am the founder of Dwell Inspired, a local home decorating business where I help people love their homes again. I am married to my love, Scotty.  He is my opposite in every way and keeps me grounded, laughing, and dancing through all of life's twists and turns. We have three sons and two daughters, not in that order.  

Beyond all things home, I am a wife, mother, and Christian. My faith in Jesus Christ is the single most inspiring and life-changing thing about me. Jesus does for me what no custom set of window panels or perfect accent chair could ever do–He forgives my sin. He makes me acceptable to God. In Him, I look forward to my permanent dwelling place in heaven. This blog is the place where I will talk about inspiring design ideas and also talk about my Lord and Savior.  Welcome to our lively and very imperfect world. I'm glad you're here.
